Optical Glass - Fusing Workshop
Discover the captivating optical qualities of glass in our NEW workshop.
Learn the techniques of safely cutting and assembling glass, and master the art of using glass stringers to craft a magical fused glass artwork.
What do I need to bring?
An apron and please wear
sturdy shoes (no open toes)
A packed lunch - I can provide teas and coffee but recommend you bring your own food, and of course the Stapleford Granary Cafe has a selection of light lunches and refreshments.
ALL other materials are provided
Where is the workshop?
Studio 1, Stapleford Granary, Bury Road, Stapleford, Cambridge, CB22 5BP
Limited free parking is available on site, if full please park respectfully in nearby roads.
When is the workshop?
Friday 6th June 2025, 10.30am - 3pm
Saturday 7th June 2025, 10.30am - 3pm
Thursday 17th July 2025 10.30am - 3pm - FULL - Private Booking
More dates coming soon, both Full and Half-days will be available shortly
On occasion extra dates can be added as long as there are minimum 4 people booking please contact me directly to arrange a date
Additional Information:
The glass fusing will take place off site, the glass art will be ready for collection, or posting approx. 1 week following the workshop there will be an additional cost for posting, approximately £6
There are only 7 spaces available so this is a small workshop and I will be fully hands on to help you and answer any questions.
Cancellations:
If you cancel 4 weeks in advance I can offer a full refund, if I receive less than 4 weeks notice unfortunately I am unable to offer a refund. If for any reason the workshop is cancelled there will be a full refund.
